Day 2: Visit New Orleans
• Morning: You can admire the architecture of this city through about twenty historical districts. Start with the French Quarter or Vieux Carré with its narrow streets often bearing French names such as Bourbon, Toulouse, Chartres, Orléans. You will find colonial style houses with wrought iron balconies, some of them 250 years old. This area was designed by a French architect at the beginning of the 18th century with the idea of making it a kind of village.
• Afternoon: Don't miss the Jackson Square, the lively heart of the Old Square. Not far away is the St Louis Cathedral, with its 3 high and pointed bell towers, dating from the 18th century, it is the oldest cathedral in the United States still in activity. Continue on to the French Market, located between the square and the Mississippi River. The French Market is the oldest market in the United States. Take a break at the famous Café du Monde and taste its famous doughnuts. You can also admire the city from the Mississippi River, aboard the steamer Natchez.

Day 3: Visit New Orleans
• Morning: Don't forget to walk up the majestic and residential avenues of the Garden District, the chic district of the city, where Americans took up residence after the takeover of Louisiana by the United States in 1803. Several museums are also worth a visit, such as the National World War II Museum and the Presbytery and Cabildo state museums. Learn about the history of the Mardi Gras Festival and how the famous Mardi Gras World floats are made. Stores and museums throughout the city will also reveal the tradition of voodoo.
• Afternoon: Cook & eat an authentic Louisiana meal! In this highly interactive class you will actually cut, season and prepare a complete dinner with one of our expert chefs, and afterwards they are able to sit down and enjoy the meal they have just created.
