Day 1: Arrival in Los Angeles
• Morning/Afternoon: Arrival at Los Angeles International Aiport and pick-up of your rental car.
• Evening: Overnight at the Grafton on Sunset.

Day 2: Los Angeles, the glitter city
• Morning: At Griffith Park, discover the emblematic Griffith Observatory. Continue to Hollywood Boulevard and its entertainment industry. Outside, the biggest movie stars immortalized their passage by leaving their handprints in the cement. Afterwards, stroll down the Walk of Fame in search of your favorite actor’s memorial star.
• Afternoon: Head to the famous Beverly Hills neighborhood, an incredible residential area. A trip to Rodeo Drive, one of the most opulent streets in the world, is a must. Finish off with a gourmet break at the Farmers Market. Venice Beach and Santa Monica are two of Los Angeles's must-see neighborhoods, renowned for their beaches that stretch for miles. Here you can find the quintessential Californian lifestyle.

Day 3: Palm Springs, a geological paradise
• Morning: Drive to Palm Springs, a popular destination for its retro charm and modernist architecture. Explore the historic hotels, avant-garde museums, designer boutiques and art galleries along Palm Canyon drive. Hop aboard the Palm Springs Aerial tramway, which takes you up to 8,000 feet up the side of Mount San Jacinto and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and canyons.
• Afternoon: The tribal territory of Agua Caliente Cahuilla offers many Indian Canyons, including Tahquitz Canyon, a trail that takes you to the foot of an 18-metre waterfall. As for Palm Canyon and Andreas Canyon, they offer trails through colorful rock formations leading to palm groves. At the end of Murray Canyon, you'll reach Seven Sisters, a cascading waterfall.

Day 4: Joshua Tree, off the beaten path
• Morning: Drive to Joshua Tree National Park. Often overlookked by national park visitors, the black rock region has much to offer. Located in the northwestern part of the national park, black rock is connected to Joshua Tree by hiking trails.
• Afternoon: Hiking trails through the desert vegetation and superb views wind through the area, starting at Black Rock Campground. Black Rock also offers several trails for horseback riding, including the longest in the park, the California Riding and Hiking trail.
• Evening: Overnight at the Surestay Plus by Best Western Twentynine Palms Joshua Tree. |

Day 5: Anza-Borrego, the other Death Valley
• Morning: Drive to Anza-Borrego State Park through Pumpkin Patch, a unique geological phenomenon: a patch of land covered with spherical rocks, all the size of a pumpkin. Located in the east of San Diego County, south of Palm Springs, this desert covers a large area and the largest park in the state of California: the Anza-Borrego desert state park, also known as the other Death valley !
• Afternoon: The best time to go there is in winter for its milder temperatures or in spring, to witness the blossoming of the desert wildflowers. It is the ideal place for travelers looking for adventure off the beaten track. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the desert, hike through an oasis of desert palm trees, bike on picturesque roads or drive off-road.

Day 6: San Diego
• Morning: Drive to San Diego. Located in Southern California close to the Mexican border, San Diego offers sunny weather all year round. The city borders the Californian coast has 112km of beaches. The proximity to Mexico has had a profound influence on the city. The old town San Diego State Historic Park gives an insight into the early inhabitants of California.
• Afternoon: San Diego offers a variety of outdoor activities between beaches, parks and deserts. Start with the Torrey Pines Nature Reserve. For the sporty one, La Jolla is the perfect spot for surfing lessons or kayaking trips. But San Diego is best known for its Balboa Park, the largest urban cultural park in the United States. It is home to 17 museums, gardens, theatres and the famous San Diego Zoo.
• Evening: Overnight at Kimpton Hotel Palomar San Diego. |

Your day will have to be organized according to your flight schedule. Head back to San Diego International Airport and drop-off your rental car.
