Day 1: Arrival in San Francisco
• Morning/Afternoon: Arrival at San Francisco International Aiport and private transfer to your hotel.
• Evening: Overnight at the Argonaut Hotel.
Day 2: San Francisco's Charm
• Morning: Emblem of the city, the Golden Gate Bridge is a must! Once you're on the other side of the bridge, you'll reach the Golden Gate View Point, one of the best views of the bridge and the city of San Francisco. Then head to Sausalito, a charming and picturesque city.
• Afternoon: Discover the Embarcadero district by walking along the docks. Then head for Pier 39, where you can watch sea lions lounging on the pier. Board a ferry and discover the bay and the city from the sea or take a boat to the famous Alcatraz Island.
• Evening: Overnight at the Argonaut Hotel.

Day 3: Yosemite National Park
• Morning: Pick-up your rental car downtown and drive to Yosemite National Park, located about 190 miles east of San Francisco.
• Afternoon: In the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the park is surrounded by huge cliffs and rocks shaped over time and polished by ice. This gem was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. In this 1,200 square meter basin, especially famous for its numerous waterfalls, you can find deep valleys, large meadows, giant ancient sequoias and magnificent granite peaks.
• Evening: Overnight in an Airstream. |

Day 3: Majestic Yosemite Valley
• Morning: visit Tunnel View, an emblematic viewpoint over the dizzying falls of the Bridal Veil, the cliffs of El Capitan, the largest granite rock in the world and the Half Dome, the jewel of Yosemite. Its steep slopes culminate at nearly 2,700 meters. The most experienced hikers can walk to the summit (a permit is required). Others can admire its granite bowl from afar.
• Afternoon: Discover the majestic Yosemite Falls, which are the highest waterfalls in North America at a staggering 740m. A little further south, near Wawoma, you will find Mariposa Grove, a grove of giant sequoias.
• Evening: Overnight in an Airstream. |

Day 5: Sacramento, the Gold Rush
• Morning: Drive to Sacramento. On the way, dont' miss Natural Bridge, a unique geological formation.
• Afternoon: Discover Sacramento, capital of the state of California, founded in 1848 during the Gold Rush period. Discover the three distinct districts of the city. Downtown Sacramento, the business district, with its magnificent Capitol. Midtown is both residential and lively. Finally, Old Sacramento with its western decor. This neighborhood dates back to the gold rush era.
• Evening: Overnight at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel. |

Day 6: Sonoma County and its winery
• Morning: Drive to Sonoma County, well known to wine lovers and home to 18 wine regions and no fewer than 425 wineries. Restaurants highlight fresh products from local agriculture and let us discover authentic flavors. The must is to take a stroll through the farmers' markets.
• Afternoon: Sonoma is located in the heart of the region of the same name. Its historic neighborhood, also known as The Plaza, is a must-see. Also don't miss the Bartholomew Memorial Park, home to Bartholomew Park Winery. But the best way to discover the town is to taste the locally produced wine.
• Evening: Overnight at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. |

Day 7: Point Reyes National Seashore
• Morning: Drive to the quiet and peaceful seaside area known as Point Reyes National Seashore. With its many bays, coves and estuaries, the Point Reyes area offers a plethora of scenic spots to explore.
• Afternoon: The roads in and around Point Reyes are very scenic. You'll find dozens of sleepy little towns nestled in the wooded, rolling hills, beaches and beautiful hiking trails.
• Evening: Overnight at the Olema House Point Reyes. |

Day 8: Point Reyes National Seashore
• Morning: Start by visiting the Bear Valley Visitor Center near the city of Olema. The Visitor Center also offers beautiful exhibits on the surrounding nature. Then head to the Point Reyes lighthouse, which dates back to the 1870s. After descending the 308 steps to the lighthouse, you'll be rewarded with an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean.
• Afternoon: The area offers many estuaries and miles of calm water that you can explore by kayak or canoe while bird watching. Head to Tomales Point to spot the Tule elk (dwarf elk), a subspecies of elk found only in California. The area also offers many outdoor activities including dozens of hiking trails. If you want to take a walk on the beach, you can choose between Kehoe Beach or Drakes Beach, which kids love.
• Evening: Overnight at the Olema House Point Reyes. |

Day 9: Heading home
Your day will have to be organized according to your flight schedule. Head back to San Francisco and drive to the international airport and drop-off your rental car.
